Ahhhhhh Triangle Pose. A classic pose included in many standing sequences you will find a yoga class. But for those of us who have tight hamstrings, hips, and shoulders; it can be quite a sticky pose to create and then sustain for any length of time (even if it’s just a few breaths)
So why do we do it and how can it benefit us?
Well first of all if any of the above has resonated with you…PROPS. Props can be super helpful in this pose to be able to find the right angle so to speak, make it more enjoyable, and easeful.

So if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram (if you don't please do!! links below) then you know that I just completed the in class contact hours for my Level 1 Yoga Tune Up training. I have been asked so many times what the heck is it? So I thought it makes sense to put explain more here!
Yoga Tune Up is best know for it's incorporation of Yoga Therapy Balls to roll out muscle and fascia. That is exactly how I was introduced to it. I took a class with my 200hr Anatomy teacher Laurel Beversdorf. I loved the idea of being able to roll out my body and perform this self massage on myself. But little did I know there is SO much more to the Yoga Tune Up format.
Yoga is not a practice of attainment; it is an unending process of self-discovery and self-tranformation.

As of right now Yoga by the Bay in Keansburg is on for tomorrow at 9am. According to the forcast rain will occur in the afternoon, so we should be able to create our own sunshine and happiness moving and breathing together on the beach!
Remember a large towel, sheet, or blanket is best.
